JES Hays (they're initials) began writing at the age of three, but never considered it to be anything more than a hobby until recently. After several writing seminars, Hays has begun to imagine that the velyr could perhaps be foisted upon  ... er ... introduced to the science fiction reading world.

Hays spends way too much time doing research, but is starting to knuckle down to the work of actually producing salable copy. Previous works have been several short stories sold to some very off-off-press publications and a few nonfiction newspaper articles.

Hays resides in the American state of South Carolina along with an opinionated cat.
